1. A provider of health care services is obliged to document the provision of health services to each patient pursuant to the requirements and to preserve the corresponding documents. However, there are no legal provisions regarding the contents of the medical file.

2. The patient has the right to access his or her medical file, unless otherwise provided by law. He or she may also obtain copies of his or her medical file at his or her own expense.
