Predictive tests of genetic diseases or those that make the identification possible of the person as the carrier of a gene responsible for a disease, or tests to detect a predisposition to a genetic susceptibility of a disease. They may only be carried out for medical or medical research purposes and with genetic counseling, when indicated, or in the case of a study of inter-individual differences in the response to prescriptions and the genetic-environmental interactions or for the study of the molecular basis of diseases (article 9 of the Law on Biomedical Research).
