• If the patient is a minor, the Code of Medical Ethics stipulates that the consent to diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and the treatment of sensitive data, should be expressed by the legal representative (article 33).
• The physician is obliged to inform minors and to take into account their will, considering their age and capability of comprehension, with respect to the rights of the legal representative (article 34).
